For 11 years, the AboutGwinnett/TalkGwinnett family of sites have been the focal point for political news, commentary and debate in Gwinnett County. TalkGwinnett.net, the home of the only issue-oriented discussion forums in the county, boasts a monthly readership in the tens of thousands of unique visitors.

This site– TalkGwinnett.com– is published in a blog format which places it squarely in the center of the Gwinnett blogosphere. You should check here often for the best political and social commentary, as well as for links to the best that Gwinnett’s bloggers have to offer.

Sharna Fulton
Sharna FultonPart PR woman. Part creative advocate. Sharna Fulton helps business people, non-profits and community organizations grow their “Peace of the Pie.” Ms. Fulton has 15 years experience as an advertising copywriter. More recently, she was an entrepreneur, herself running a giftware business for over a decade. Over her 25-year career, she has served clients that include McDonald’s, The PGA of America, the Boston Marathon, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and Alternative Home Care for Seniors. She resides in Loganville with her husband, a teacher/coach at Grayson H.S. and their scottish terrier mutt, Pete. David Hancock
David HancockDavid has lived in Gwinnett County since 1988 when he married and moved to Suwanee.  He has seen both Suwanee and the County grow beyond anyone’s expectations.  David joined the board of his homeowners association and started publishing neighborhood newsletters, which he continues to this day.  His interest in the area’s growth earned him a 3-year stint as a Planning and Zoning Commissioner for the City of Suwanee and a position on the original Suwanee Town Master Plan Committee.

In 2008, David ran unsuccessfully for State Representative of the 98th district which includes the Cities of Suwanee, Buford and Sugar Hill.  He now lives in unincorporated Gwinnett and supports a wife, a child at North Gwinnett and a child in college as an owner in an Alpharetta-based software company.

Lisa Oden
Lisa OdenLisa is a Mom of two, REALTOR, wife, Sports Information Director at Collins Hill Park, Taylor Elementary PTA Health, Nutrition and Safety chairperson, a member of NAMAR (Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS) and, in her spare time, spent two years as the Hambridge North HOA Secretary.  She loves hiking with her kids, youth sports, cooking, decorating, and is a social media addict.

Lisa has lived and worked in Gwinnett for many years and looks forward to seeing revitalization and positive growth return to our county.  She studies the local market, watches the national markets and economy and enjoys sharing information with others. Stephanie Wallace
Stephanie WallaceStephanie is a Gwinnett girl, through and through. Originally from Lawrenceville, She now resides with her family in Suwanee.  Stephanie stays busy as the Marketing Manage for a Norcross art gallery and serving on the staff of the Special Needs School of Gwinnett. In her spare time, Stephanie gets “artsy-craftsy” and is currently trying her hand at sewing.

Stephanie is a “Dawg Girl” who went to the University of Alabama and loves college football (Go Dawgs! Roll Tide!) She loves the beach; her favorite seasons are fall, winter, spring and summer. (You can also find Stephanie online at her personal blog, at Twitter and on Facebook.)

Everett Bracken
Everett BrackenBorn and raised by penguins in Antarctica, Everett sought a warmer climate and became a resident of Gwinnett County in 1995, where he has served teenagers and their families first as a youth minister (complete with goatee) and now as a religion teacher (with a constantly changing expression of facial hair).

Everett, his wife and two children survive live in Lilburn where Everett directs the Parkview Christian Learning Center (which provides off-campus religious education classes, during the school day, for some amazing Parkview High School students) as well as CoreFoundations, an organization that helps other communities provide these off-campus religious education classes for arguably less amazing students.  (You can also find Everett online at his personal blog, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.)

Bob Griggs
Bob GriggsBob is a web designer and community activist. His web company, Shoestring Solutions, has provided web design, site hosting and other Internet services to small business, political candidates and non-profit groups for 12 years. Bob’s other company, Verify I-9, LLC, is a Designated Agent of the federal E-Verify program.

Bob is Gwinnett’s original “Web Warrior,” shaping public opinion and motivating politicians with his online journalism since 1997 when he published his first political news site at Snellville.com. Today, Bob is the Publisher of TalkGwinnett.com, the extremely popular sister site at TalkGwinnett.net; his own blog at BobGriggs.com; and a handful of issue-oriented and community sites across the state.
