WoodyBass.com: Is the Catholic Church partially to blame for abortion and HIV/AIDS rates?

Catholic condomThe premise of Norcross blogger Woody Bass’ article is that the Catholic church, with its opposition to birth control, is contributing to increases in the abortion rate and the spread of HIV/AIDS. Woody argues that, because there are so many Catholics in the world, some of them must have had abortions. And because of the Church’s “concern” with the sick, there must be some Catholics with AIDS. These “facts,” opines Bass, are evidence of the Church’s hypocrisy.

We tried to find some logic in his argument. Maybe you will have better luck:

I am a firm believer that those who are leaders of organized religion are nothing more than cattle ranchers with cattle prods telling their followers how they should live, think and behave. In addition, I believe those who participate in organized religion are nothing more than the cattle who are too ignorant or stupid not to know that for themselves.
