recycling in schoolsRobin, publisher of the Sustainable Peachtree Corners blog and self-proclaimed “hard-core recycling diva,” takes her daughter’s elementary school to task for failing to recycle lunchtime refuse:

The visitors table in the cafeteria is positioned right in front of the window where the children get into line to take their trash. Although I desperately tried to focus on conversation with my daughter, I couldn’t help but to notice all the uneaten food, unopened milk containers, all the everything, going right into the trash.
