1600 Meter Specialist Kirubel Erassa and Coach B. of Grayson High School
A slew of athletes and coaches from Gwinnett County dominated the festivities at the Atlanta Track Club All-Metro Track and Field Banquet last week. Brookwood, Collins Hill, Grayson, Mill Creek and Parkview were all well represented at the event.
At the state meet, three Gwinnett schools took the top three team spots in the 5-A state meet respectively, Parkview, Mill Creek and Grayson. On the girls side, Collins Hill was the state runner-up after taking last year’s state crown.
