Gwinnett Cities to Lose State Funding

For months, I have encouraged Gwinnett’s municipalities via fax, email and phone calls, to obey the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act. By law, every level of government is not only required to verify the employment eligibility of their new hires through E-Verify, but they are also required to verify the eligibility of applicants for public benefits including business licenses.
While a handful of Gwinnett cities are enrolled in E-Verify, not a single one has completed enrollment in the Systematic Alien Verification of Entitlement (SAVE) Program, through which verification of eligibility for public benefits is achieved.
House Bill 2, currently pending before the Senate Public Safety Committee, is intended add some teeth to the GSICA. It is opposed, however, by the Georgia Municipal Association which is the organization that represents Georgia’s cities at the State Capitol.
If you would want Gwinnett’s cities to obey the law regarding verifying their own employees as well as applicants for public benefits like business licenses, you should encourage your state representatives to pass this bill. The AJC found that while many governments in Georgia had signed up for E-Verify, no state agency was checking to see whether they were using it. The AJC found that 21 of 159 county governments and 234 out of 536 chartered cities and towns had not registered with E-Verify. Some told the AJC they didn’t know they had to do so, even though the law had been in effect for years.
In addition to the E-Verify problems reported by the AJC, few local governments and state agencies have signed up for the federal program checking public benefits.

We should ask Speaker Pelosi and Sen.Harry Reid and the rest of the disloyal cliques in Washington. That if a Universal form of Health care passes, will that include all the illegal aliens in this country? Then ask them–whose going to pay for them? Let’s face it Democrats already squashed E-Verify, a tool to limit illegal immigrant labor in the workplace.

They are the ones who sold out American Workers by stamping out the federal E-Verify, to identify millions of ILLEGAL ALIENS IN THE WORKPLACE. With 10 million American jobless, these legislators left the door open for foreign labor. REMEMBER THEIR NAMES IN THE NEAR FUTURE. THEY REMOVED IT FROM THE STIMULUS/ OMNIBUS SPENDING BILL. REMEMBER THEY ARE ALREADY DEBATING–AMNESTY–BEHIND CLOSED DOORS?

Brittanicus, You forgot to put Obama at the very beginning of the list! You might as well list every single Demon rat; please don’t leave out good ol’ BarneyFrank, both Clintons, Kennedy, Waxman, Waters and Stark, ad nauseum! Except for Heath Shuler, I can’t think of any other Democrat who hasn’t SOLD OUT! And then start with Senor Boosh, McShame, (The HEAD Repugnant, who mysteriously shot to the head of the campaign trail), while all along, the real conservatives didn’t want him! Kyl, Brownback, Huckster, and many other Repugnants just opened the doors wide for illegals to take American jobs, while allowing big businesses to outsource American jobs. Bill Gates was in front of congress pleading for thousands of skilled worker visas, (cause he didn’t have enough), while laying off thousands of American workers! IBM and many other companies did the same! With so many Americans out of work, just how are we going to pay for the goods that these companies are making? Oh yeah, we’re gonna print it! Counterfeiters go to jail for doing the same thing! I don’t know how these “representatives?” can sleep at night. They must be greedy sociopaths!
These people created the present crisis when Obama urged poor people to march in front of banks demanding mortgages they couldn’t afford. Clinton signed an order for the banks to accept these subprime loans and funnel them to Freddie and Fannie. When their loans ramped up, guess what happened? Foreclosures! Whodathunkit? Then they have the audacity to claim to be our saviors by borrowing trillions of dollars, and devaluing the dollar by printing trillions more! You can’t create jobs with shell games, and Geithner is not wasting a minute of this engineered “crisis”. He is planning huge power grabs, and the end result will be a socialist government. Communism with a pretty name! Young people who think this is change they can believe in, are in for a real shock. Older people who voted for this change must have flunked History!
